Hey, Jolene, it's still July isn't it?? Works for me. Sounds like you had a good time. I discovered last year that if I stand in just the right place in my office, I can see the fireworks from about four different cities. Strange, but nice.

It is, it is. My dh designed and built it for me. And yes, sometimes I have to put down the pleated shades to block the view, or between the mountains, the water and the eagles, herons, and my personal fave the kingfisher--they're so cute in their little tuxedos--I'd never get anything done.

I'm just glad to be able to work at all these days. But I'm trying to keep everything in balance. Of course to keep it there, you have to =get= it there....
Aww, Katz, thank you. He is getting slowly but steadily better. I will pass that hug along happily. He's one of those guys who's always doing things for other people, and now it's coming back at him, all the people he's helped over the years are paying him back now. And he's having a hard time with that. He's a great giver but a lousy taker!
